IN SEARCH FOR A COVERAGE?
Probably you have been experiencing some complexity in finding the best and caring insurance partner to take you through the whole process of application and haven’t so far been fruitful. We are glad that your search has come to a successful end since we have Legal and General ready to embrace you- if recently rejected or had an application postponed by other insurers.
THE L&G UNDERWRITING FOR CROHN’S DISEASE
When you approach Legal and General, you will have to give some information about your recent visits to the doctor within a span of the last 60 months if interested with an application for an IP (income protection) or CIC (critical illness cover). For a Life Insurance policy application, medical details for the last 24 months are a necessity.
When doing either of the applications, you are required to note some few things which include;
- The diagnosis date or period,
- The kind of therapies given by the professional medics,
- If your condition has effects on your inner organs like your liver
- Details of any surgical operation in waiting due to the condition.
Legal and General accepts at least 85% of clients diagnosed with Crohn’s disease for Life coverage.
THE L&G UNDERWRITING FOR ULCERATIVE COLITIS
When subjected to the underwriting process, you will be required to give details about the recent visits made to your professional medics for the last 24 months. It is so when applying for a Life Insurance coverage. If it’s for IP or CIC, details old as the last 60 months are necessary and a requirement during the application procedures.
Legal and General accepts at least 95%of clients diagnosed with ulcerative colitis for life coverage and at least 80% from the 95% are offered life covers at standard rates.
